Metasearch Engines
These sites can perform searches over multiple search engines with a single query, a great way to proceed when a single search at your favorite engine doesn't give you the results you need.

I have divided these into two main categories:
Meta-General where you can search on any topic,
and
Meta-Specific where the searches are limited to certain categories and therefore may provide much more focused results
